Spring day in Buenos Aires

As you may know, here in the southern hemisphere, every September 21st we celebrate the Día de la Primavera or Spring day in Buenos Aires as it is the beginning of the spring season but here in Buenos Aires it is also known as the youth’s day or student day where all students from elementary school to high school students will skip classes and go out to parks all across the city in order to gather with friends and picnic. The celebrations are supported by the local government under the slogan “Welcome spring, enjoy it without alcohol”.
