Congreso / Montserrat
These two areas stand side by side and offer a lot when it comes to beautiful shots of Parisian style buildings and other awe inspiring architecture, including: Palacio Barolo (‘Dante’s Inferno’ inspired building), the Obelisk and Eva Peron’s face standing out from the Health Ministry Building along 9 de Julio. La Boca
La Boca is extremely photogenic; best known for its striking tango dancers, colourful buildings and cobblestone streets, filled with souvenirs and local artists selling their work. It is definitely not short of great photos to add to your holiday photo album or even to grace your walls when you get back home.

Villa Crespo
The street art scene in Buenos Aires has really taken off and many are attracted to this particular barrio to check out the latest artwork gracing its streets. Villa Crespo is a great area for those interested in street photography and wanting to see an edgier side of the city. San Telmo
San Telmo is a popular route for Foto Ruta’s Street Scape experience, with endless opportunities to shoot portraits of its locals, beautiful historic buildings, busy markets and vibrant street life. The crumbling buildings, random street art and passersby make for some interesting and classic Buenos Aires photos.

Palermo

Recoleta
Recoleta’s majestic and sometimes eery cemetery has become world renowned for its epic proportions and as a resting place for some of Argentina’s most prolific figures, including: previous presidents, president’s wives (including Eva Perón), diplomats and journalists. The site itself makes for some great gothic stills and to capture the city in a different light.

Puerto Madero
Puerto Madero, an old dockland turned site of modern and high spec buildings can make for an interesting place to shoot crisp linear shots and the sun setting over the city. Foto Ruta’s Academia experience often makes its way to Puerto Madero; providing participants with a stark contrast to provide its photography tour participants with a stark contrast to the crumbling latino buildings of Montserrat and San Telmo.
